The municipality of Mokolo comprises approximately 106 administratively recognized villages, in addition to several neighborhoods and secondary localities, bringing the total to more than 200 territorial entities spread across its municipal territory, each with traditional chiefdoms involved in local governance and the implementation of local development policies.
